U.S. Secretary of Labor Eugene Scalia recognized Renaissance Global Services as one of the recipients of the 2020 HIRE Vets Medallion Award during an award ceremony at the U.S. Department of Labor. Renaissance Global Services earned the GOLD Award. The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes job creators who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.
“Renaissance Global Services is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, and it is my goal to hire qualified veterans to fill our recruiting needs and to support the requirements of our clients. Veterans are proven leaders and managers, and they have served our country honorably and with distinction. Moreover, they are battle-tested and are eager to excel in a new career. In addition, Renaissance Global Services stands ready to assist our veterans during their transition from their military service to civilian life by offering education opportunities and mentoring programs. Veterans make a difference, and they are such great asset to any organization.” said President & CEO Frank Libutti, Lt. General, USMC (Ret.).
Renaissance Global Services is proud to join 674 other companies from 49 states, plus the District of Columbia, who have shown not only a commitment to hiring veterans, but also ensuring that they have a long-term career and growth plan that uses the diverse skills they acquired through their military service.
The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is based on a number of criteria, ranging from veteran hiring and retention to providing veteran-specific resources, leadership programming, dedicated human resources, and compensation and tuition assistance programs – with requirements varying for large, medium, and small employers.
